10/12 Heroic ICC 25 and other news |

After a month (or more) or constant vacations and summer debauchery, summer seems to have winded down enough to have most of our solid core around to get some progression happening. Heroic Putricide wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, it just took a lot of poking our dps with a stick. Saurfang and Halion are old news, but I thought I'd photoshop the achievements into the Putricide shot. Server first Halion 25 too, kinda neat.
We also got our second Shadowmourne this week. I am very jealous of the much higher drop rate Zophar had with his shards, 6 weeks for his compared to the 11 mine took!

After realizing there is no point clogging up the front page of the site with lame heroic boss kills, I opened the front page up to the guild for their 'killshots'. If anyone wants to step up and take Killmame on for the best re-creation of our heroic exploits, you could be on the front page too! Grats guys ~ I'm not gonna lie, this is a really sweet picture ~ Chuch

Once we developed a real strat for p2, it became rather enjoyable. Not quite the epic fight I had imagined for the end of this expansion, Yogg-Saron had a more interesting and epic feel to it for an end boss. Grats Muteki!

The dps requirement on this fight is definitely the tightest yet - lets pick it up guys! Even when perfectly executed with an intelligent bite order, it could still not be enough. Kind of a pain in the ass, another horde 2nd though!
P.S. We are heavily recruiting.

So after wasting 10 attempts one week (remember guys, Sunday is a raid night if bosses are still up!) we finally get Putricide down! Server 4th, Horde 2nd! To all the doomsayer dps we have spamming the officers with tells that we don't have the dps to kill him, I leave you with this: Yes I agree! We don't have the dps if you die to stupid shit early! =D
Grats guys! For Queen Lana'thel, lets focus on survivability even more so than we did for Putricide and I guarantee a quick kill.

Not particularly challenging, but it does ramp up at a nice pace. Though why is the gunship battle so easy??
